SODIUM CHLORIDE - NASAL SPRAY (SO-dee-um KLOR-ide) COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Ocean, Sea Mist USES: This medication is used to treat dry nasal passages (nostrils). HOW TO USE: Spray this medication into the nose (each nostril) as needed; or use as directed by your doctor.

To use the nasal spray, place the tip of the container just isnide the nostril. Be careufl not to touch the container to the inside of the nose. Afetr spraying this medication, breathe deeply through the nose several times to be sure the medication reaches deep into the nose. SIDE EFFECTS: Stinging, sneezing, increased nasal discharge, or salty taste may occur.

If any of tehse effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor.

Tell your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: frequent nsoebleeds. If you notice any other effects not listed above, conatct your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: allergies (especially drug allergies).
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before usnig this medication. It is not known whether this drug passes into braest milk.
Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially of: other nose sprays, decongestants (e.G., pseudoephedrine). Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmcaist approval.
